Greetings from the Captain

Welcome letter from the Captain
Dear Members, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2021 season at Wigtown and Bladnoch Golf Club. As we all are aware last season was somewhat disjointed because of Covid19 but we managed through and played all our club competitions and medals but had to miss out on our open competitions which was unavoidable. The committee and I have decided to try and have a full fixture list for the coming season and our sponsors are willing to support us, so provided that Covid rules allow hopefully we can enjoy our golf and our competitions. Our Green Keeper Matthew has now moved on to another career and I would personally like to thank him for all his work and commitment to the club over the past seven years and would like to wish him all the very best in his new endeavour. We have posted on social media that the club requires a new Green keeper and have had to date a few enquiries.I must also say a big thank you to Sharon and Malcolm for their hard work and service on the committee over the past few years. The committee has decided to keep all fees the same as 2020 and it may be necessary to discount the fees should any changes be made by the government in the future.I wish all members all the very best for the new season and will do my best to serve as your Captain along with the committee to ensure that the club flourishes in the coming season.
ALL MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE NOW DUE AND CAN BE PAID ONLINE OR AT THE CLUBHOUSE USING THE HONESTY BOX . THANK YOU.
