Mary Stewart Ladies Greensome

The Mary Stewart Ladies Greensome was played on Sunday 30th June. A fabulous turn out of 20 couples competed for the Stewart Cup. The course was in excellent condition, easily coping with a few showers. Results were as follows:

1st G Rowlinson and I Watson 89 – 24.5 = 64.5

2nd L Cairns and H Inman 96 – 28.5 = 67.5

3rd E Gerrard and M Johnson 96 – 28 = 68

Scratch L Allan and H Fox 81

The club are indebted to the legacy left by Mary Stewart which allows the Competition to continue. Also to Sheena McWhirter for her help and support.

W MacDonald & Son Gents Open

The W MacDonald and Son Gents Open was played today at Wigtown and Bladnoch Golf Club. Weather conditions and the course were excellent, resulting in some fantastic scores.

David Baird Mixed Open

The David Baird Mixed Open was played at Wigtown and Bladnoch Golf Club on Sunday 9th June.

The competition was kindly sponsored by Davy Bell. All proceeds from the competition are going to local cancer charities .

Thanks also go to Wigtown Rangers Supporters Club for donating a further £300 towards the charities.

The total amount raised was £716.00

RD Watson / Cluckie International Results

The RD Watson Rosebowl and Cluckie International Trophy were both played for today at Wigtown and Bladnoch GC. An impressive 52 golfers tried their best to bring home the silverware 🏆 in favourable conditions. The Brigend Mixed Double Greensomes was played today at Wigtown and Bladnoch Golf Club. Despite blustery conditions the scoring was excellent and very close with 5 teams being separated by just 1 shot.
