Race Night

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Race Night, to race sponsors, horse owners, and those who came along to bet and buy tote tickets. Special thanks to Malcolm and Kevin for organising, and Dennis for the Brexit themed auction race! We raised a grand total of £1120 which is £200 more than last year. Thank you, your support is much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you all at our Annual Prize Giving which is this coming Saturday (26th) which will also include a fun mini quiz.

Past Captains Day

The Past Captains of Wigtown and Bladnoch Golf Club got together today to play in the annual Past Captains event followed by a lovely meal and a good catch-up. Winner of the Gents Salver was Matthew Robinson and Sharon Milven won the ladies trophy 🏆. A great day was had by all.

Wigtown Community Festival Junior Golf

Wigtown & Bladnoch Golf Club were delighted to host the Junior Golf day as part of Wigtown Community Festival. The weather was very kind and everyone managed to stay dry.

The results were as follows:

18 hole Competition

1st Ben MacDonald 95 – 31 = 64 (bih)

2nd Aaron Milven 85 – 21 = 64

3rd Andrew Cannon 95 -25 =70

Chipping & Putting Competition

1st Rowan Lloyd 92 points

2nd Finlay Kennedy 76 points

Wigtown Community Festival Junior Golf

On Thursday 18th July Wigtown & Bladnoch Golf Club will be hosting Junior Golf Competitions as part of Wigtown Community Festival. There will be  9 and 18 hole competitions for junior golfers who already have handicaps, starting at 10am. We would also like to welcome any children under 18 at anytime between 10am – 2pm to the Clubhouse  to take part in fun putting and chipping competitions. We look forward to seeing you then and hope you have fun!
