Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions we are unable to hold our AGM 2021 in the Club House which was scheduled for wednesday 10^th February. We preferred not to have an online AGM, probably a good idea given the recent Handford Parish Council experience! We will therefore continue with resolutions agreed at the 2020 AGM.  Robin McHarg will take over as Captain from Neil Cluckie, and Sandra McGinn will take over as Ladies Captain from Marion Cluckie. We wish them both well.

We would like to thank Sharon Milven for doing an excellent job as Club Secretary for the last 5 years. Sharon has decided to step down effective from today, therefore we are urgently needing a Secretary. Please would all members consider coming forward to join the committee and fill this important post. 

Malcolm Potter is also standing down from the Committee. We would like to thank him for his sterling work over several years as Match Secretary. Therefore we have another vacancy on the Committee.

The accounts for 2020 are available to view on the website wandbgc.co.uk under “members”.  Once again we thank Helen Bark for auditing them.

The fees will remain as per those agreed at AGM February 2020. Those who didn’t get their COVID discount last year are eligible for it this year.  The fees will be as follows:

Full members: £250         (Discount £210)

 Full members aged 18 – 21: £160              (Discount £135)

Juniors (secondary school): £70                 (Discount £60)

 Juveniles (primary school): £40                 (Discount £35)

Country members (live over 25 miles away) £160              (Discount £135)

Associate members (members of another club) £110       (Discount £95)

We are intending to have a comprehensive fixture list. Details will follow when available.

Hopefully we will return to “Normal” golfing conditions this year. We wish all golfers a safe and enjoyable season in 2021.
