On Friday August 27th Tom Simpson, Tony Bark, Andy Steele and Neil Cluckie had a well earned trip to Turnberry to play in the Seniors Open. This was paid for by the Club by way of a massive thank you for all their hard work on the Course this year. We couldn’t have managed without them. They have been assisting Matthew, who has been working part time, whilst we try to appoint a new Green Keeper. They weren’t in the prizes but a great day was had by all!
Glorious weather on Saturday 28th August was a bonus for the 17 teams of players taking part in the Help for Heroes/Ethan’s Journey of Smiles Charity Texas Scramble.
